Our water drop adventures

Ms Frizz explains the water cycle!

Today we had more questions about where water goes. We watched Ms Frizz and the magic school bus kids go through the something called the 'water cycle'. We can't wait to learn more about it!

Where does the water go when you flush the toilet?

We are learning about the water cycle and we wondered where the water goes after you flush the toilet? We discussed were we thought it went and then watch the video below which helped us to learn even more.

We then shrunk ourselves into tiny water drops and went on our own adventure through the water treatment process.
We started off as dirty water. First the rubbish (a dirty shoe and a lost bracelet) was taken out. The bacteria was then added to gobble up the nasty parts. We then separated the solids from the clean liquid and we were able to return to the river and sea as clean water drops!

New class members!

Over the last two weeks we have gained three fantastic new class members; Annabelle, Isla and Kaden. We would like to welcome them and their families to our school.

A cloudy lesson!

For writing we watched a short video from the literacy shed, 'A cloudy lesson'. It was about a Grandfather and his Grandson who created clouds. we then discussed what clouds we would create and wrote about it. Check out the video and our writing below!
