This week we listened to the story "I need my monster" on one of our favourite websites, Storyline Online. We then wrote about what kind of monsters we would like to have. We tried to uses lots of adjectives to describe our monsters. Check out our descriptions and our monsters below!

Cass the Colour Robber
This week we created our very own giant, Cass the Colour Robber, who is a character from our big book. First we painted him and then wrote our own stories about what that naughty Cass got up to! We would love you to come and check him out!

Otago Settlers Museum Trip
Yesterday we visited the Otago Settlers Muesum and explored their ww1 exhibition. We learnt lots about the soldiers that came from Otago and what the world was like 100 year ago. Take a look at what we got up to.

Kids Can Cook
Today we had an awesome cooking lesson with Chris the chef. We made crepes with apple and silver beet. We had a great time and can't wait to make some more!

Anzac Memorial Service
Today we had our own Anzac service to remember all the soldiers who have fought for our country.

Mountainview Jazz Band
Today we were very lucky to watch the Mountainview High School Band perform in the Romahapa Hall. They were fantastic!!! We learnt about their instruments and even got to dance along.

Fraction cupcakes!
This week we have been learning about fraction and also reading the big book "The Kings Cake". Today we made our own little cake and cut them into fractions. Look at what we got up to...
